Antonis Rellas is an activist and a film director. He has directed independent short films and documentaries, drawing inspiration from the social model of disability. Among these is the award-winning documentary on disability “Aegean Waves”. He envisioned and participated in the establishment of an international disability-themed documentary festival under the title “Emotion Pictures, Documentaries and Disability”. He has directed theatre productions in Greece and abroad. He co-founded the Emancipation Movement for the Disabled “Mideniki Anohi” (Zero Tolerance) in 2010.
